Good 50×70

There’s nothing more instant form of communicating a message than a poster. But sadly, most of the time, our industry spends its time promoting beer and trainers rather than issues that really matter. It’s compounded by the fact that as a young creative trying to make your career you have to fill your portfolio with work for big brands to get noticed.

We created Good 50×70, an independent, non-profit initiative with the following aims: to promote the value of social communication in the creative community, to provide charities with a (free) database of communication tools, to inspire the public via graphic design.
Our focus is an annual contest to design posters confronting seven of the critical issues affecting today’s world.

Seven charities each provide a brief on a global issue.

Anyone who wishes can enter a poster on any topic that inspires them. We might not change anything with Good 50×70, but if we can wake up the Graphic Design and creative communities to the power they have to be a force for change in the world, we’ll really have achieved something.

Global warming makes them disappear

This poster was designed to inform about the gravity of global warming. The idea is that as the global temperature increases, many animal species will die out.

The Consequences of CO2 Emissions

We are all tied to the well-being of a planet that is threatened by CO2 emissions poisoning the atmosphere. The fate of animals, a third of which will be extinct by 2050 foretells the fate of humans who will surely follow them unless there is worldwide commitment to reducing greenhouse gases.

Smoke

Each year, many greenhouse gases and toxic gases are released into the atmosphere, making air quality a significant decline. This is not only the natural result of the injury, but also the reverse effect on human beings. We can no longer unrestrained emissions of these gases, they must be controlled.

Animal Extinction

For this poster I focused on the threat of 1/3 of animals being at risk because of CO2 emissions. I believe it’s important to create awareness about this issues and show how everything is connected and the possible consequences of our actions.

GLOBAL WARMING

In the time of image culture social poster does play the role of contemporary morality play, it becomes a perfect tool of education, social ’improvement’ ,warning and informing. Synthetic language of the poster enables to deliver this contents in the most pure way.

2050

If we don’t start making changes now, 41 years from now, species, humans, and life might be gone. Leaders need to be pushed to make decisions that will save the world from disappearing.

Dead Leaf

We are all tied to the well-being of a planet that is threatened by CO2 emissions poisoning the atmosphere. The fate of animals, a third of which will be extinct by 2050 foretells the fate of humans who will surely follow them unless there is worldwide commitment to reducing greenhouse gases.

GLOBAL WARMING

Most of us only see the manipulation of ideas on the surface that are controlled by the certain patrons of power and continue to see what is expected of us.

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE

The Global Warming is caused by us, we are all responsible and can not deny it! One of the factors which contributed to this issue is our consumption which is enormous. The earth’s resources abuses partly because of industries manufacturing and that also causes global warming. Industry wants us to buy more and as long as we do it without consideration we can not say: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE !

GLOBAL WARNING

Although we are flooded with information concerning the ever-growing threat of global warming, we lack the motivation and self-awareness to change. Apathy to the environmental problems facing us is our greatest enemy. Poised and ready to call attention to itself, the hand represents our misconceptions about how one singular action can help or harm as well as the positivity that demonstrates that alone and together, we can make a change for the better. We have been confronted with the warning signs of our actions on our planet for quite some time now and the need to turn around and address the issues is now.
